THE STORY

This bundle includes two Volkswagen Golf libraries.

Volkswagen Golf II was recorded with two track Sound Devices 702 recorder. Foley was captured with mono Rode NTG3 microphone. The engine sounds were recorded with two Oktavas MK012 with 10dB pad and cardioid capsules. Engine was recorded during regular driving, accelerating and gear shifting, and more demanding way of driving with steady RPMs, slow accelerations and decelerations for game implementation. In this 110 minutes long car sound library you will find 23 engine sound effects recorded under the hood, 8 passby and engine exterior sounds, 7 foley effects including opening and closing doors, trunk, hood and engine recorded inside vehicles cabin.

Volkswagen Golf II update features 29 additional files with total length of 42 minutes (without RAW files) of engine recorded with two DPA 4061 microphones, exterior pass by sound effects recorded with Rode NTG3 and Sony PCM-M10, aggressive car braking sound and additional interior and exterior sound effects of car driving on different roads. This update includes designed and raw files, pulled straight out of the 702 recorder. There is 45 files (including RAW files) with total length of 101 minutes.

Volkswagen Golf V 1.6 FSI is a small sound library which features 37 files recorded with Sound Devices 702, Zoom F8, Rode NTG3, two Sennheisers 8040 and two DPAs 4061 microphones. Inside you’ll find engine recorded onboard (engine/exhaust/drivers cabin in sync) and exterior passes. Regular driving, accelerations, reverse, engine on/idle/off, rpm ramps (recorded with microphones onboard), and exterior perspective covering passes with different speeds, stopping and reverse sound effects.
