THE STORY
Chainsaw sound library features 111 WAV mechanical files recorded with Sound Devices 702, Rode NTG3, Oktava MK012 and Sony PCM-M10. You will find sounds like turning on and off the engine, sawing wood with different RPMs and different duration, close and distant perspectives of sawing with small and big engine chainsaws. In addition to designed files, you will find raw sounds, pulled straight out of the recorder. If you prefare to make your own adjustments, you can do that with raw files. The recording session took place during special event. 5 volunteers were preparing harsh terrain for mud turtles. All small branches and trees had to be removed. Only big chainsaws were recorded that day. The small one was recorded in different location.
